Our horizontal rails feature 2″ doweled ends to fit securely into 2″ bored out holes in each post. This doweled” installation is much stronger than the conventional nail on method because the weight of the fence sections rests on 2″ dowels rather than on a few nails or screws.

As for appearance, we think you’ll like the unique look of our fence sections installed between the posts rather than on the posts. including concare and convex tops

We also use 5″x 5″ posts rather than the standard 4 x 4’s. That may not sound like much but, if you do the math, it works out to about 50% more wood per post.
